Two Years Ago... #Ar-Kansas

Relive the iconic interview that helped spark the rivalry between the University of Missouri and the University of Arkansas. On November 21, 2016, Eric Beisel purposely mispronounced Missouri's upcoming opponent, "Ar-Kansas," and declared that if they decided to "show up" for the game on Friday, it would be a "huge mistake".

Mizzou entered the game 3-8 with just one win in the SEC while Arkansas was already bowl-eligable and fighting for their 8th win of the season. As sports-experts and journalists called Eric Beisel's bold statements "ridiculous" and "outrageous", it started a fire in the Missouri locker room which lead the Tigers to a historic 2nd half come-from-behind victory. Beisel finished the game with 15 tackles, one tackle-for-loss and two PBU's.
